Abstract:
Provided is an instrument driver which can enhance merchantability and design by giving novelty to what is expressed in an eye-catching operation. The instrument driver comprises an instrument (2) which indicates vehicle information by turning a pointer on an indication board, and first and second illumination means (2d, 2e) for illuminating the instrument with different illumination colors. The instrument driver further comprises control means (1, 2a) which control the instrument (2) to perform an eye-catching operation different from a normal displaying operation according to an input of a predetermined start signal, and gradually change as the eye-catching operation at least the brightness of the first and second illumination means (2d, 2e) at different timings. The start signal is an imput for turning a power switch on or off.
