Abstract:
Provided is an instrument holder that makes it possible to smoothly remove a handpiece from a prescribed location and return the handpiece to the prescribed location. A mounting part 21 for an instrument unit holder A is configured from: guide rollers 211 that guide a handpiece 1 and support the trunk section thereof, and are provided in a diagonal direction relative to one side 2a of a holder body 2; a drum-shaped roller 212 that supports the head of the handpiece 1 and forms a substantial U-shape with the guide rollers 211; and an axial support member 213 that axially supports the drum-shaped roller 212 from the outsides in the axial direction thereof, and forms the lateral walls 2131 of the mounting part 21. Furthermore, the axial direction length of the drum-shaped roller 212 is no shorter than the width between the outsides of the columnar sections of the pair of guide rollers 211, the shaft 2121 of the drum-shaped roller 212 is positioned above the lines of extension that extend from the centers of the shafts of the guide rollers 211, and the center section of the drum-shaped roller 212 has an hourglass shape.
