Abstract:
Provided is an instrument holder that enables smooth, safe, and sanitary handling of an instrument by holding the instrument in a forward-leaning orientation during use thereof and in a rearward-leaning orientation when the instrument is not in use. A holder section (15) of the instrument holder comprises: a rotating body (23) that is supported by a pair of support bodies (16) and is capable of rotating; a holder body (31) mounted to the rotating body (23); and a roller (45) that supports an instrument hose (7) so as to be offset from the axis of rotation (A). The holder section (15) alternates between a forward-leaning holding state and a rearward-leaning holding state as a result of the rotating body (23) being made to rotate.
