　Provided is an insulated cable comprising: an insulating film formed on the surface of a conductive cable material; and a soldered portion for electric conduction. Dicarboxylic acids are attached to the surface of the insulating film and soldering is carried out, with the dicarboxylic acids attached to the insulating film, thus forming a soldered portion. Further provided is a method for manufacturing said insulated cable comprising: a surface treatment step in which dicarboxylic acids are attached to the surface of an insulating coating to form a soldered portion; and a soldering step in which the surface treated portion of the insulating coating is immersed in a soldering melt and soldered while heated.
