Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an insulated electric wire excellent in productivity and low in cost while achieving improved high frequency characteristics, a coil using the same, and a method for manufacturing the insulated electric wire. [Solution] The problem is solved by an insulated electric wire that is in close contact with each other and that is wound to form a coil, the insulated electric wire configured to comprise: a compound-film-covered strand 3 covered by a compound film 2 formed of a metal ion of a metal constituting a strand 1 and an active component of a compound that forms a complex with the metal ion; and an insulated layer 5 covering the outer circumference of a twisted wire 4 obtained by twisting a plurality of the compound-film-covered strands 3 together, such that the compound-film-covered strands 3 prior to forming the twisted wire 4, the compound-film-covered strands 3 after forming the twisted wire 4, or the compound-film-covered strands 3 after covering the outer circumference of the twisted wire 3 with the insulated layer 5 are heat-treated.
