Abstract:
Provided is an insulated wire that, even with the use of polypropylene as a base resin, exhibits heat resistance and can suppress the occurrence of copper damage. An insulated wire 12 used in an on-board cable 1 is disclosed. The insulated wire 12 comprises a conductor 14 composed of an annealed copper wire and an insulator 16 that coats the conductor 14. The base resin of the insulator 16 is polypropylene, and a primary anti-aging agent, a secondary anti-aging agent, and a copper damage inhibitor are added to the insulator 16.
