Abstract:
An insulated wire according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a conductor that has first and second lateral surfaces, each of which is on the reverse side of the other; and first and second insulating films, which are respectively arranged on the first and second lateral surfaces, and each of which has a pair of projected parts and an intermediate part that is arranged between the pair of projected parts. The ratio of the thickness (d2) of the respective intermediate parts of the first and second insulating films to the thickness (d1) of the respective pairs of projected parts, namely d2/d1 is from 0.50 to 0.90.
