Abstract:
An insulating guide used in a plasma torch that is for plasma cutting and that has an electrode and a nozzle. The electrode is inserted in the nozzle. The insulating guide is made of resin and connects the electrode and the nozzle. The insulating guide is provided with a first inner circumferential surface (71), a second inner circumferential surface (73), a communicating passage (703), and a heat-resistant film (707). The first inner circumferential surface is formed on the inside of the insulating guide. The second inner circumferential surface is formed on the inside of the insulating guide and has an inner diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the first inner circumferential surface. The communicating passage connects a space that is inside the first inner circumferential surface to the outside and extends in a direction that is inclined with respect to the axis-line direction of the insulating guide. The heat-resistant film is formed on the first inner circumferential surface.
