An insulating ratchet wrench comprises a wrench body (10), a ratchet (20) and a locking mechanism. The wrench body (10) is provided with an annular through hole (15), and the ratchet (20) is arranged in the through hole (15) and rotates about the axial direction of the through hole (15). The wrench body (10) is further internally provided with a groove body (40) for setting the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a locking block (31) and a spring (32). One end of the spring (32) is abutted against one end of the locking block (31), and the other end is abutted against the end side wall of the groove body (40). The end not abutted against the spring (32), of the locking block (31) is provided with locking teeth (311), and the locking teeth (311) mesh with the ratchet (20). An insulating layer (19) is arranged outside the wrench body (10). According to the design of arranging an insulator outside the wrench, it is guaranteed that workers can safely use the wrench to work even in the electriferous environment, the safe production purpose is achieved, and the production efficiency is improved.
