Abstract:
An insulating spacer according to an embodiment supports between a high-voltage conductive body and a metallic container in a gas-insulated switchgear. The insulating spacer is made from a non-linear dielectric material of which the dielectric constant can increase with the increase in an electric field. The non-linear dielectric material contains a matrix resin and a first filler and a second filler both filled in the matrix resin. The matrix resin is an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups per molecule. The first filler is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of barium titanate, strontium titanate, calcium titanate and titanium oxide. The second filler is silica or alumina.
