This insulating tape comprises a mica layer including mica, a reinforcing layer which is stacked upon the mica layer and which includes a filler and a fiber reinforcement material, and a cellulose derivative layer which is stacked upon the reinforcing layer. The cellulose derivative layer includes a cellulose derivative wherein one or more glucose unit hydroxyl groups are substituted with a functional group such as -CH2CH2OH or -(CH2CHO)pH (where p is an arbitrary repeating number greater than 0 and less than or equal to 50). The weight per unit area of the mica is 100-200g/m2. The maximum particle size of the filler is 100μm or less and the weight per unit area thereof is 10-50g/m2. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an insulating tape whereby it is possible to form a stator coil insulator layer with high thermal conductivity without the filler which is pre-retained within the insulating tape leaking out when manufacturing the stator coil, and to improve bonding strength of the insulating tape.
