Abstract:
The present invention relates to an insulation composition, and a power cable having an insulation layer formed therefrom. Specifically, the present invention relates to an insulation composition and a power cable having an insulation layer formed therefrom, the insulation composition being a non-cross-linked type so as to be eco-friendly in that recycling thereof is possible and the like and, simultaneously, possessing at least the same mechanical and electrical properties as a conventional cross-linked insulation material, satisfying thermal deformation characteristics at 130°C, which are required for the insulation layer of a cable with an operating temperature of 90°C, and having excellent physical properties such as flexibility, flame retardancy, waterproofness and extrudability.
