Abstract:
[Problem] This invention relates to a device and method for preventing temperature change of a substance in a high or low temperature state due to heat transfer between the substance in a high or low temperature state and the surroundings. [Solution] A vacuum insulation device and vacuum insulation method, the device having the function of markedly improving an insulation effect by covering the outer periphery of a pipe or container with a double structure having a vacuum in the interior, wherein the device and method are characterized in that part of an inner cylinder (inner plate) and part of an outer cylinder (outer plate) constituting the double structure are caused to pass through or protrude into the outer side of a substance placed around the inner and outer cylinders to form a sealed space, and the portion passing through or protruding into the outer side is fixed to the substance placed around the inner and outer cylinders to form a sealed space, thereby providing the function of a structure that firmly bonds or fixes together the inner and outer cylinders constituting the double structure and the substance placed around the inner and outer cylinders to form a sealed space.
