Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is an insulation sheet used for a battery cell. The insulation sheet comprises a first wall surface and a second wall surface, which are distributed opposite each other in the thickness direction of the insulation sheet, the first wall surface being configured to face an electrode assembly of the battery cell. The insulation sheet further comprises a first edge wall located between the first wall surface and the second wall surface, wherein the first wall surface or the first edge wall is provided with a first opening; the second wall surface is provided with a second opening; a first channel is provided in the insulation sheet; and one end of the first channel is in communication with the first opening, and the other end thereof is in communication with the second opening. The insulation sheet is configured such that a tab can pass therethrough. By means of the insulation sheet in the present application, the risk of short circuiting caused by contact between a first tab and a casing of a battery is reduced, thereby improving the safety performance of the battery; and the first tab can be provided with no tab adhesive, thereby simplifying an internal structure of the battery provided with the insulation sheet, and reducing the material costs and the processing costs of the battery provided with the insulation sheet.
