Title:
INSULIN A-CHAIN DERIVED PEPTIDE FRAGMENT AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING DIABETES OR DIABETIC WOUNDS, CONTAINING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/147624
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are an insulin A-chain derived peptide fragment and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diabetes or diabetic wounds, containing the same as an active ingredient. The peptide of the present invention induces endocytosis through insulin receptors, has activities of increasing glucose uptake of cells by translocating glucose transporters onto a cell membrane, and of increasing cell migration and proliferation. Therefore, the peptide of the present invention can be usefully applicable in the prevention or treatment of diabetes or diabetic wounds.
