Abstract:
The present invention relates to an insulin injector capable of measuring an oxygen saturation level and a heart rate and to an insulin injector by which insulin is injected into a user and which is capable of measuring an oxygen saturation level and a heart rate, the insulin injector (100) further comprising an oxygen saturation level and heart rate measuring module (120) which comprises: one or more light-emitting units (121) installed on the outside of the insulin injector so as for an extremity of a user's body to come into contact therewith; a light-receiving unit (122) for measuring a light source which has been radiated by the one or more light-emitting units (121) and has penetrated the extremity of the user's body; and a pulse oximeter (123) for measuring measurement signals, including an oxygen saturation level and/or a heart rate, in real time through a photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal measured by the light-receiving unit (122).
