Abstract:
An insurance fee estimation system comprises an in-vehicle device and an insurance fee estimation device. The in-vehicle device comprises: a road surface condition measurement device that measures the road surface condition in each section of a road; and a communication device that transmits, to the insurance fee estimation device, measured road surface condition data for each section of the road. The insurance fee estimation device comprises: a communication device that receives, from the in-vehicle device, the measured road surface condition data for each section of the road; a storage device that stores the measured road surface condition data for each section of the road; an evaluation module that determines, for each section, an evaluation value pertaining to a management condition of the road on the basis of the measured road surface condition data for each section of the road; and an estimation module that estimates an insurance fee for road indemnification responsibility insurance for the road on the basis of the evaluation value for each section of the road.
