Abstract:
An intake passage structure of a stratified scavenging engine (E) comprises: a vaporizer (3) having a rotary valve (50) configured to adjust the degrees of opening of a gas mixture passage (22) and an air passage (21); and a blocking member (60) located upstream of the rotary valve (50) and configured to control the amount of air (A) flowing through the air passage (21). The blocking member (60) is supported between the rotary valve (50) and a cleaner case (4a) of an air cleaner (4). The blocking member (60) throttles the air passage (21) within the rotary valve (50) when the rotary valve (50) is at an intermediate degree of opening.
