Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bipolar plate (100) used for a redox flow battery, comprising first and second plates (110, 120) of the same shape, which are closely coupled to be integrated while being positioned to face each other and respectively have accommodation grooves (111, 121) at center parts thereof, arranging the electrode (20) in the accommodation grooves (111, 121) on the front surface or the rear surface of the outside of the coupled first and second plates (110, 120) so as to form a flow path through which an electrolyte is introduced to the inside of the coupled first and second plates (110, 120) and is spread and flows by means of an electrode (20), and then is discharged to the outside of the first and second plates (110, 120), and comprising inlet passages (112, 114, 122, 124) through which the electrolyte is introduced to the inside of the first and second plates (110, 120), and an outlet passages (113, 115, 123, 125) through which the electrolyte is discharged to the outside of the first and second plates (110, 120) by being formed at a position of facing the inlet passages (112, 114, 122, 124). According to the present invention, a manufacturing unit price, assembly ability, and the like can be improved through component simplification of a bipolar plate for a redox flow battery, thereby enabling an improvement in productivity.
