Abstract:
An integrated coal gasification combined cycle power generation apparatus of the air-blown type equipped with a carbon dioxide recovery device is provided in which a new carrier source as a substitute for nitrogen gas is ensured as a carrier gas for pressurizing and conveying dust coal and char. The apparatus necessitates no air separator. This integrated coal gasification combined cycle power generation apparatus employs an air combustion system in which air is used as an oxidizing agent to yield coal gas in a gasification furnace (4). Carbon dioxide is separated and recovered from the coal gas with a carbon dioxide recovery device (8) and then supplied to a gas turbine (9). Part of the carbon dioxide separated and recovered with the carbon dioxide recovery device (8) is used as a gas for conveying dust coal and char.
