Abstract:
The present invention reduces the possibility of spontaneous combustion of pulverized fuel that has been pulverized in a pulverizer without the use of an auxiliary burner. The invention is provided with: a pulverizer (10) for pulverizing coal to make pulverized coal; a gasification furnace (4) for gasifying the pulverized coal that has been pulverized at the pulverizer (10); a combustor (6) for combusting the gasified gas that has been gasified at the gasification furnace (4); a compressor (7) for supplying compressed air to the combustor (6); a gas turbine (5) that is driven by combustion gas generated at the combustor (6); a power generator that is driven by the gas turbine (5) and generates power; exhaust gas supply channels (22, 23, 24) for guiding some of the exhaust gas of the gas turbine (5) to the pulverizer (10); an IGV (14) for adjusting the amount of air supplied from the compressor (7) to the combustor (6); and a control unit for performing reduced air amount operation for controlling the IGV (14) so as to reach a smaller amount of air than a set amount of air determined from a set combustion temperature of the combustor (6).
