Abstract:
An integrated platform for smart river management comprises: a camera configured to capture an image of at least one sluice gate configured to control the flow of water through a channel; an actuator configured to adjust the height of the sluice gate; and a control unit that overlaps and sets a virtual region of interest on the image captured by the camera, detects a change in water level in each region of interest, and controls the actuator according to the change in water level, wherein the control unit converts the captured image into a plurality of slice images in a vertical direction, and measures the height of the region of interest for each slice image to determine whether a foreign substance is present.
