Abstract:
An integrated window sash has many innovational features one of which includes a sash frame made of plastic having a low gas and moisture permeability. The sash frame includes a first wall having a sheet-supporting surface spaced from a second wall having a sheet supporting surface. A base interconnects the walls. A glass sheet is mounted on the sheet-supporting surface of the first and second walls to form a compartment there between. A plastic barrier film having a low gas and moisture permeability is mounted on the base facing the compartment.
