Abstract:
An intelligent fan control method and a corresponding apparatus. The method comprises: acquiring temperature values of a plurality of monitoring areas; determining whether the acquired temperature values reach a temperature adjustment threshold; if none of the temperature values reaches the temperature adjustment threshold, re-acquiring temperature values of the areas; if there is a temperature value reaches the temperature adjustment threshold, determining whether more than half of the temperatures of the areas are greater than a highest adjustment threshold; if more than half of the temperatures are greater than the highest adjustment threshold, setting all fan control parameters to implement a full-speed operation mode, or otherwise, obtaining a temperature control coefficient corresponding to the adjustment threshold and computing fan control parameters using a fan control parameter algorithm; and adjusting rotational speeds of fans according to the fan control parameters. By controlling fans in a fan queue, the heat dissipation efficiency of a system is targetedly improved, the heat dissipation power consumption efficiency of a device and service lives of the fans are improved while ensuring good heat dissipation. The method and apparatus are applied to the field of fans.
