An intelligent mirror, comprising: a mirror surface (2), and an induction control device (1) disposed at an inner side the mirror surface (2). The inner side of the mirror surface (2) is also provided with an infrared emitting device (3), the infrared emitting device (3) being used to emit a first infrared light wave (4); when a human body approaches the mirror surface (2), a reflected wave of the first infrared light wave (4) which is reflected by the human body is superimposed with a second infrared light wave (5) emitted by the human body and then incident onto the induction control device (1), enabling the induction control device (1) to control to the intelligent mirror to activate. By providing the infrared emitting device (3), the intelligent mirror emits a first infrared light wave (4) of a specific wavelength to a human body, which is then reflected by the human body onto an area of the induction control device (1); after superimposing with a second infrared light wave (5) which is inherent to the human body, the induction control device (1) may detect a stronger infrared light wave, thus it is not necessary to destroy the integrity of the mirror surface (2).
