Abstract:
Disclosed are an intelligent panning magnetic separator and a magnetic separation method. The magnetic separator comprises a feed trough (1), an overflow trough (2), a separating cylinder (3), excitation coils (4), a balance column (5), an outer cover (6), a water supply system (7), a lower cone (8), a concentrate discharging system (10) and a sensor (11). The feed trough (1), the overflow trough (2) and the separating cylinder (3) are respectively installed from top to bottom. A plurality of sets of excitation coils (4) are sleeved on the outer side of the periphery of the separating cylinder (3). The outer cover (6) is sleeved outside the excitation coils (4). The balance column (5) is mounted at the lower middle part of the inner side of the separating cylinder (3). The balance column (5) and the separating cylinder (3) are coaxially installed. The water supply system (7) is located at the lower middle part of the separating cylinder (3). The lower cone (8) is mounted to be in communication with the bottom of the separating cylinder (3). The concentrate discharging system (10) is mounted at the bottom of the lower cone (8). The sensor (11) is mounted on the lower cone (8) and is used to measure a concentration of pulp in the separating cylinder (3). The magnetic separator is controlled by an automatic intelligent program, can resist the fluctuation of ore quantities and obtain high grade concentrate, effectively prevents runoff from overflowing tailings, and realizes the high efficiency, large scaling, good working stability, high intelligence and simple operation of an apparatus.
