Abstract:
Disclosed are an intelligent shopping system based on a supermarket shopping cart and a control method therefor. The complete shopping process of a customer is divided into six states; and in each state, an anti-theft function of the intelligent shopping cart system in the shopping process is realised by utilising, to different degrees and in combination with a plurality of image analysis algorithms, weight change information fed back by a weight sensor in real time, image information about each frame collected by a monitor apparatus, and commodity information acquired by a code scanner. By performing grey scale image statistics and feature analysis or pattern recognition on a detected moving target image or a skin colour detection image, the detection of an empty hand or a hand holding a commodity within a monitoring area is realised, the customer is timely reminded about rule-breaking operations and same are corrected, and judgement on a rule-breaking behaviour of the customer is realised. Payment free from queuing, labour cost reduction and improvement of shopping experience are realised while guarding against theft and stopping loss.
