Abstract:
The present invention relates to an intelligent street lamp monitoring method and device. The method comprises: acquiring in real time the illumination intensity and weather information of at least one area; when determining that the illumination intensity of a first area in the at least one area is lower than a first threshold value, determining whether pedestrians and/or vehicles pass through the first area; when determining that the pedestrians and/or vehicles pass through the first area, controlling street lamps in the first area to be turned on; and determining the illumination intensity for turning on the street lamps in the first area according to the weather information and illumination intensity of the first area. With the method provided by the present invention, the illumination intensity and weather information of at least one area are first collected, and if the illumination intensity of a first area in the at least one area is lower than a first threshold value, it is detected whether pedestrians and/or vehicles pass through the first area. Moreover, when the pedestrians and/or vehicles pass through the first area, street lamps are turned on according to the weather information and illumination intensity of the first area, and the illumination intensity of the street lamps is determined.
