Abstract:

An intelligent tire pressure monitoring system and method. The system comprises: a CAN bus module, a diagnosis module, a processor unit, a 3G module, a GPS module, and a server. The CAN bus module and the diagnosis module are used for detecting the rotational speed of each tire of a vehicle and steering angle data of a steering wheel and transmitting a detection result to the processor unit. The GPS module is used for acquiring location information of the vehicle and transmitting the location information of the vehicle to the processor unit. The processor unit is used for computing and processing received detection result data and vehicle location information data and uploading these to the server via the 3G module. The server is used for calculating the pressure of each tire on the basis of the received detection result data, vehicle location information data, local weather conditions of several consecutive days, and road conditions in which the vehicle travels and taking a corresponding measure on the basis of the pressures of the tires. The system is inexpensive, safe and reliable, quick and easy to install, and facilitates viewing of tire pressure history.
