Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and a method for transmitting inter-core data, wherein the apparatus comprises: a first processor subsystem and a second processor subsystem coupled to the external bus, wherein the processor subsystem each includes a communication agent, a processor core and an internal storage module, when the inter-core data is required to be transmitted, the processor core notifies the communication agent, the communication agent completes the transmission of the inter-core data, and the communication agent notifies the processor core to process the inter-core data. The communication agent of the apparatus is distributedly deployed inside each processor subsystem, thereby reducing the delay of inter-core data transmission, and improving the processing efficiency of the processor core.
