Abstract:
Disclosed is a inter-device data transfer device for transferring data between devices connected to an external network, having a communication unit and an external memory, wherein the data transfer device comprises a program execution unit which when receiving at the communication unit via the external network the packet data relating to a session that is preliminarily designated by an OS, directly transfers the data to an empty region of the external memory and writes a file into the external memory unit without dividing or merging the packet data or deleting the region, with a data transfer size that is an integral multiple of the I/O size of the communication unit, without using a main memory device.
