Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an inter-electric-vehicle charge/discharge device that does not require identification of a device cable or a vehicle (power charging side and power feeding side) during charging/discharging between electric vehicles. An inter-electric-vehicle charge/discharge device 302 according to the present invention comprises: an insulation-type bidirectional converter 10; a first connection circuit 11 that connects a first electric vehicle 21 and one end of the bidirectional converter 10; a second connection circuit 12 that connects a second electric vehicle 22 and the other end of the bidirectional converter 10; and a main control circuit 13 that compares information extracted from both vehicles (21 and 22) and, on the basis of the comparison result of the information, causes the bidirectional converter 10, the first connection circuit 11, and the second connection circuit 12 to operate such that a traction battery of one of the vehicles (22 or 21) is charged with direct-current power from a traction battery of the other vehicle (21 or 22).
