Abstract:
Disclosed is an inter-layer video decoding method comprising: acquiring subblock size information of a second layer image, which indicates a size of a subblock within a range which is less than or equal to maximum size of encoding unit; determining, using the subblock size information, a size of a sub-block within a range which is larger than or equal to minimum size of encoding unit and is less than or equal to the maximum size of encoding unit; determining a candidate block which corresponds to a current block included in the second layer image and is included in a first layer image different from the second layer image; when at least one subblock of the second layer image, which is determined using a size of a subblock from the current block, is acquired, acquiring motion information of a subblock of the first layer image, which corresponds to a subblock of the second layer image; acquiring or predicting the motion information of the current block using the motion information of the subblock of the first layer image; and decoding the current block using the acquired or predicted motion information of the current block, wherein the subblock of the first layer image is determined to be located in an area inside the candidate block.
