Abstract:
The present application provides an inter-system handover method and device. The method comprises: a network side device determining to trigger handover of a UE from a first system to a second system; notifying the UE of using a dual-pass mode to establish a second system session corresponding to a first system session currently being used; and performing handover from the first system session to the corresponding second system session, and releasing the first system session. This way of maintaining the two system sessionsbefore and after the inter-system session handover can reduce a delay generated by a system handover of a UE, satisfying high reliability requirements.
