An interactive display system. The interactive display system comprises an infrared light source and a monitoring apparatus. The monitoring apparatus comprises an interactive module and an interactive control unit. The interactive module comprises a monitoring camera, a spectral element, a visible light monitoring element, and an infrared light monitoring element. The monitoring camera captures a visible light projection screen, and the visible light projection screen is imaged onto the visible light monitoring element to form a first imaging picture. The monitoring camera captures an infrared light spot, and the infrared light spot is imaged onto the infrared light monitoring element to form a second imaging picture. The interactive control unit is connected to the visible light monitoring element and the infrared light monitoring element, and outputs location information of the infrared light spot into a display unit. The display unit displays a corresponding visible icon according to the location information of the infrared light spot, so that operations of clicking, dragging, zooming in and zooming out and the like of the visible icon are performed, so as to implement the function of human-machine interaction.
