Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an interactive system with which it is possible to generate appropriate response speech according to the emotion of input speech, making use in a simple manner of response speech selection and generation mechanisms of an existing system. [Solution] This interactive system 100 comprises: a response speech selection unit 122 which generates response speech text in response to input speech 52; an input speech emotion estimating unit (120) which estimates the emotion of input speech by calculating an input speech emotion score which represents the degree of matching between the emotion expressed by input speech and a plurality of emotions, for each of a plurality of emotions; and a response speech conversion unit 124 which calculates a response speech emotion score, which is an emotion score for each of a plurality of emotions, with respect to a response speech text, and which converts the response speech text, in accordance with a conversion method determined by the values for the input speech emotion score and the response speech emotion score, and generates and outputs response speech 102.
