Abstract:
Provided is an interbody cage having structural stability. The interbody cage 1 is provided with: a main body 2 having, on the distal end side, a pair of branch parts 20, 21 spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction; a rod 3 provided on the main body 2 to extend between the pair of branch parts 20, 21; and a slider 4 for separating the pair of branch parts 20, 21 in the vertical direction, the slider 4 being supported by the rod 3 to be movable in the axial direction. Each of the pair of branch parts 20, 21 has an inclined surface 26A on the distal end side. The inclined surfaces 26A face each other, and the distance therebetween gradually increases to the distal ends. The slider 4 slides on the inclined surfaces 26A of the pair of branch parts 20, 21 when moving in the axial direction of the rod 3. Each of the pair of branch parts 20, 21 has, on the proximal end side, a narrow part 27 having a narrow width. The interbody cage 1 has an opening 5 between the upper and lower narrow parts 27, the opening 5 being formed by a plurality of holes 50–52 which are continuous in the axial direction of the rod 3 and have an upper edge and a lower edge which form convex curves in a side view.
