Abstract:
Provided is an interchangeable lens unit for eyeglasses which has excellent engagement strength with an eyeglasses frame and which is capable of attaching and detaching a lens to and from the eyeglasses frame without the fingers touching the lens surface. A lens frame fits detachably into a groove (31) provided with an appropriate shape on the inner circumferential end surface of the half rim frame (30) of the eyeglasses, and the lens is fitted and mounted in said lens frame. In the lower frame portion of said lens frame, an inwardly projecting plate-like body (13) is formed having a shape which closes the gap between the subocular part of the face and the lens when the eyeglasses are worn.
