Abstract:
Provided is a technology for verifying the quality of calling, without the influence of echo or acoustic feedback, in an intercom system for transmitting/receiving sound. The intercom system for transmitting/receiving digital sound data is provided with an intercom base unit (1), an intercom handset (2), a first transmission line (31) for transmitting the sound data from the intercom base unit to the intercom handset, and a second transmission line (32) for transmitting the sound date from the intercom handset to the intercom base unit. The intercom base unit comprises a first transmission unit (13) for transmitting first sound data (D1), which is a predetermined sound data, to the first transmission line, and a first sound generation unit (103, 12) which functions to convert the sound data acquired from the second transmission line to sound. The intercom handset comprises a second transmission unit (23) for transferring the first sound data acquired from the first transmission line to the second transmission line.
