Abstract:
An intercom system to be used in a multi-dwelling complex configured from a plurality of residence buildings, wherein each residence building is equipped with: living room parent units (30) installed in each living room; a call unit capable of performing a call operation for calling the living room parent unit (30) to be visited; a storage unit for storing a call table, in which the room numbers of the living rooms and the living room parent unit IDs identifying the living room parent units (30) of the living rooms are associated; a processing unit for converting a signal inputted to the call unit into the living room parent unit ID of the living room parent unit (30) to be called, on the basis of the call table; a complex entrance unit (10) which has a transmission unit for transmitting the living room parent unit IDs to each living room parent unit (30) in the same building; and a building control unit (40) for connecting the complex entrance unit (10) and the living room parent unit (30) of each living room in the same building via an intercom line so as to make communication possible therebetween. Furthermore, the plurality of residence buildings are connected to one another via a network N where communication occurs according to a generic protocol.
