Abstract:
An intercom system to be used in a multi-dwelling complex configured from a plurality of residence buildings, wherein each of the plurality of residence buildings is equipped with: living room parent units (30) installed in each living room; a complex entrance unit (10) capable of performing a call operation for calling the living room parent units (30); and a building control unit (40) for connecting each of the living room parent units (30) in the same building with the complex entrance unit (10) via an intercom line so as to make communication therebetween possible. The complex entrance unit (10) has a storage unit (102) for storing terminal information for the complex entrance unit (10), and the building entrance control units (40) for the plurality of residence buildings are connected to one another over a network (N1) in which communication occurs according to a generic protocol, and are capable of communicating with an external device (80) connected to an external network (N2) via the network (N1).
