Abstract:
An intercom system equipped with living room parent units installed in each living room, a complex entrance unit configured so as to be capable of communicating with the living room parent units, and a control device for controlling the complex entrance unit, wherein: the complex entrance unit is provided with a plurality of nameplates which display the names of residents so as to identify the living room parent units of the residents, in order for visitors to be able to call the residents, and a plurality of dedicated buttons which are provided so as to correlate with the nameplates, and are capable of receiving an operation for calling the living room parent unit corresponding to the resident name displayed on a given name plate; and the complex entrance unit or control device has a call table 140 in which location numbers are assigned that identify the locations of the dedicated buttons in a prescribed region of the complex entrance unit. The names of the residents are assigned to the dedicated button location numbers visible to visitors on the call table 140.
