Abstract:

This intercommunication device includes: an intercommunication unit for contactless intercommunication with an RF tag; a communication unit for exchanging data with a host device; and a control unit for controlling the intercommunication unit and the communication unit. Every time data are sequentially read at fixed or irregular intervals by the intercommunication unit from an RF tag that passes through a intercommunication-allowed area located near the intercommunication unit, the control unit updates first data exchanged with the host device by the communication unit such that the read data are included in the first data, and also updates, corresponding to the timing when first data is updated, second data to be exchanged with the host device such that the second data is different from previous value.
