Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to observe the vibration of an object of observation extending in two or three dimensions, such as a bridge, elevated road, or other structure, and display the observation results. An interference-type vibration observation device is provided with: a transmission unit (6) for transmitting a transmission signal toward an object of observation (4) using a transmission antenna (12); reception units (8-1, 8-2, ..., 8-n) for receiving reflected waves from the object of observation using a plurality of reception antennas (14-1, 14-2, ..., 14-n) and generating a reception unit output signal for each of the reception antennas; and a signal processing unit (10) for calculating phase fronts of the reflected waves in relation to the antenna surfaces from the phase differences in the reception unit output signals, identifying the arrival directions and signal intensities of the reflected waves, calculating the phase variations of the reflected waves from the specified directions, and generating an observation signal representing the vibration of the object of observation or a specific region of the object of observation.
