Abstract:
An interior component (10) having a stitch decoration, the interior component (10) comprising a substrate (1) and a skin material (2) bonded to the substrate surface (11), and having stitch decorations (3, 3A, 3B, 3C) formed on the skin material (2). The stitch decorations (3, 3A, 3B, 3C) are formed by compressively deforming the skin material (2) toward the substrate when bonding the heated skin material (2) by pressing the same against the substrate surface (11). The stitch decorations (3, 3A, 3B, 3C) have imitation thread parts (31, 32) formed in the shape of stitching in the lengthwise direction of the skin material (2) and dimple parts (31a, 31b, 32a, 32b) which are positioned at both sides in the lengthwise direction of the imitation thread parts (31, 32), and in which the skin material (2) is inclined toward the substrate.
