Abstract:

An interlayer for laminated glass is provided which, when used to obtain a laminated glass, is capable of inhibiting the persistence of air bubbles between laminated glass members and the interlayer. An interlayer for laminated glass according to the present invention includes a thermoplastic resin, and has either: a section in a region where the thickness increases, said section wherein the amount of increase in the thickness increases from one end to another end; a section in the region where the thickness increases, said section wherein the amount of increase in the thickness decreases from the one end to the other end; a section in a region having a wedge-shaped cross section in the thickness direction, said section wherein the wedge angle increases from the one end to the other end; or a section in the region having a wedge-shaped cross section in the thickness direction, said section wherein the wedge angle decreases from the one end to the other end. The ten-point average roughness Rz of the surface at a position in the centre of either the section in which the amount of increase in the thickness increases, the section in which the amount of increase in the thickness decreases, the section in which the wedge angle increases, or the section in which the wedge angle decreases is at least 20 µm.
