Abstract:
The present invention relates to an interleukin-2 expression construct for yeast and yeast containing same, the expression construct comprising: a methanol oxidase promoter; human serum albumin (HSA) or a fragment gene thereof; and an interleukin-2 gene. The interleukin-2 expression construct for yeast of the present invention enables obtaining, at a low cost, a fusion protein expressed by secretion in the form of HSA and fusion protein, and enables the easy separation of a recombinant interleukin-2 therefrom, thereby being able to be usefully employed for the mass production of a high-purity recombinant interleukin-2 protein.
