Abstract:
Provided are: an intermediate buffer device which smoothly conveys sheets from a primary processing device to a secondary processing device; and a processing system provided with the intermediate buffer device. An intermediate buffer device 4, for transferring sheets between a primary processing device 2 that performs a primary process on sheets and a secondary processing device 3 that performs a secondary process on the sheets having the primary process performed thereon, is provided with: a mounting part 13 on which sheets having the primary process performed thereon are mounted and which has a mounting surface 13a with which the bottom surface 100a of a lowest sheet 100 located at a lowest position among the mounted sheets comes into contact; a conveyance part 16 that conveys the lowest sheet 100 in a conveying direction F toward the secondary processing device 3; and first rotation parts 41, 42, 43 that are arranged around the conveyance part 16 and that rotate while supporting the bottom surface 100a of the lowest sheet 100, wherein the upper ends of the first rotation parts 41, 42, 43 are located above the mounting surface 13a.
