Abstract:

In an intermediate connection part (50) for a superconductive cable, superconductive connecting wires (101), which cover a slanted surface section (213b) of a supplementary insulation layer (213) formed having a greater diameter than a cable core (11) of a superconductive cable (10), and which connect superconductive wires (100) arranged around an outer periphery of a large diameter section (213a) of the supplementary insulation layer (213) and superconductive wires (100) configuring a superconductive shielding layer (114), are formed into substantially trapezoid shapes tapered from the large-diameter-section (213a) side of the supplementary insulation layer (213) towards an electrical-insulation-layer (113) (superconductive-shielding-layer (114)) side. As a result, it is possible to wholly cover the slanted surface section (213b) without overlapping the superconductive connecting wires (101).
