Abstract:
Disclosed is an intermediate heat exchanger (10) comprising a double pipe (11) and a reservoir (14). The double pipe is provided with an outer pipe (15) and an inner pipe (16), the inner pipe being disposed inside the outer pipe (15) with a gap therebetween. The gap between the outer pipe (15) and the inner pipe (16) forms a high-temperature-side refrigerant channel (12) through which a high-pressure refrigerant flows from a condenser, and the inside of the inner pipe (16) forms a lower-temperature-side refrigerant channel (13) through which a low-pressure refrigerant flows from an evaporator. The abovementioned reservoir, which is provided so as to connect with the high-temperature-side refrigerant channel (12) in the double pipe (11), stores the high-pressure refrigerant that flows from the condenser and has not yet been reduced in pressure by a decompressor. The reservoir separates the liquid phase and gas phase of said refrigerant. The outer pipe (15) of the double pipe (11) is provided with a refrigerant outlet (18) and a refrigerant inlet (17) connected to the high-temperature-side refrigerant channel (12). The refrigerant enters the reservoir (14) from the middle part of the high-temperature-side refrigerant channel (12) in the double pipe (11), between the refrigerant inlet (17) and the refrigerant outlet (18), and returns from the reservoir (14) to the high-temperature-side refrigerant channel (12).
